Arrancan los preparativos de la tercera edición de Madrid Design Festival 2020, que tendrá lugar en el mes de febrero. Es un festival que tiene como objetivo principal reivindicar el legado del diseño y promover su cultura. Se llevarán a cabo un total de nada más y nada menos que 250 actividades.

• Patricia Urquiola, la diseñadora y arquitecta española con más éxitos logrados, inaugurará el festival el 29 de enero con Nature Morte Vivante. En la exposición se podrán sus obras de producción artesanal, de producción industrial y la intersección de ambas.
• ¿Cuál es la finalidad de Madrid Design Festival? Plantear nuevos retos de futuro en el sector, para ello se abordarán temas de interés relacionados con la funcionalidad del diseño, los nuevos materiales en el mercado, su dimensión social, la sostenibilidad, entre otros.
• Habrá 66 exposiciones, 12 instalaciones y más de 400 profesionales, tanto nacionales como internacionales. Serán protagonistas Giorgetto Giugiaro, Bruno Monguzzi, Mario Ruíz, Elvis Wesley…

ME Madrid ha participado dentro del festival “off “ del “Madrid Design Festival” como un espacio para mostrar el talento y la creatividad del mundo de la ilustración. La “Exposición colectiva de la APIM” está compuesta por 10 ilustradores de renombre como Eloy Gonzalez, Cris Valencia o Silvia campos.
